Road Bowling

Just saw this on an Ireland episode of some show with some American douchebag going on about Guinness for an hour. It was a bit interesting though. They did show a Road Bowling competition. Anyone here participate in this sport? My friends and I used to play a similar game when we were younger.

Watched, never participated. Was pretty popular around where my gran-aunt used to live in Cork. Antrim is the other hot-bed.

Anyone who has attended Kingspan Century Park for a Sunday game will know that members of the itinerant community play it on the road past KCP. We thought we were going to lose our far eastern betting information patrons to the thrills of betting on road bowls one week.
