Great to hear Irish doctors gave up on him.

The eye was rebuilt using part of his son's tooth!?!

Great to hear that it was done, but what was the guy who came up with the procedure thinking that led him to thinking that the tooth would be the solution to blindness?

Bit harsh to say the Irish doctors 'gave up' on him. It seems a very specialist procedure.

The guy was on the radio this morning talking about it. Fascinating stuff.

So much for "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth"

I've already nominated two for POTM this month but I'm sorry this has to be nominated

Well if it were up to them he'd still be blind, not good enough, Harney out!!

Great stuff but the idea of a tooth for an eye makes my skin crawl for some reason.
