When clubs or supporters clubs are fundraising is anyone here familiar with a system to accept donations online ?

I'm familiar with the website mycharity.ie and wondered if there was anything similar in place that a club or society could go to and set something up for online donations. For example if someone is going to run 1000Km!! for their team and wants to take online sponsors where could they set this up.

Is there a website similar to mycharity.ie that you can register a supporters club or society ?

Something like this? (http://www.justgiving.com/)

Or I've also seen Paypal being used.

EDIT: Actually that link may be just for charities too.

Yeah it seems to be something similar to the mycharity website.
It's hard to market fundraising events outside of the football club so that's why I was thinking a website where you can donate would be great for LOI fundraising. If every fan was to email 10 or 20 of their friends and get them to pass the link on, it seems like it could catch on if you had the right event.

Paypal is fine but not everyone is willing to sign up for a paypal account.

How have other clubs taken in sponsorship or donations other then face to face asking to sponsor ? Has anyone managed to invlove local shops or bars who would act as a means of selling sponsorship for you free of charge ??
