bit surprised with greg coming to ye.. greg spent time with us on loan six years ago in stephen kennys game scored a goal of the season contender in the 3-3 game against pats(debut). typical of him really never did much in the rest of his loan spell with us.. he didnt settle well with us and went back to cork city..

waste of a career for him ..

Just curious but was this recently? I know Greg and met him recently in Douglas and he has signed for Galway, so if we were to get him it would be for a fee or in the summer when the 3 club rule is up. But I do agree he is a fine player and City made a big mistake letting him go in the first place.

3 club rule is possible to get around now (some new agreement between UEFA and FAI)

It was Greg who asked for the move.
He no doubt has the talent, his main problem is managing to stay at one club long enough to settle. I reckon a move to Cobh would be beneficial to both parties.

It's not. That's only when the player has played for a club who play in a winter league, like England.

Has anyone else seen O'Halloran training?

I was talking to one of the players today and he heard nothing of him signing or training???????

But I do agree he is a fine player and City made a big mistake letting him go in the first place.

Greg left himself, had the whole thing wrapped up six months before the end of the season. He also put himself in a situation where the club could not take him back no matter how good he was.

Greg is a great player when he wants to be, if he motivates himself. Its the motivation he chooses that leaves him down.

Ask Don Ramo. My jaw dropped when Hendo announced the signing. I also greeted it with a mumbled sh*t.

Although Hendo then explained to me why he's been signed and why Anthony Fenelley was signed. Also why Sebastien the keeper wasn't.

Apparently Greg's wage demands were farcicle so Hendo told him to take a hike.

And Galway were looking for a fee in the summer. All weighed up it just didn't suit.
