Thanks for posting that NeilMcD.

I was only thinking aswell about that one man, one act play In High German which is about a former Bohs supporter, now living in Germany and most of his former mates are living in different parts of Europe. But come together for Euro '88.
Definitely some descriptions still fit. And anyone lucky enough to travel to football games around Ireland or in Europe will appreciate the imagery.
Only found out now it was written by Dermot Bolger

Here's information on script availability and rights
http://www.irishplayography.com/search/script.asp?play_ID=278

It was staged along with another Dublin LoI play The Holy Ground(Shels /Tolka Park regular) but alot less football reference.

The plays were first staged together at the 1990 Dublin Theatre Festival, The Gate of course. I was lucky enough to see them a couple of years later.

Dermot Bolger it appears has wriiten at least one other football related play.
