    Rovers game postponed

    from the FAI
    The Premier Division game between bottom club UCD and second placed Shamrock Rovers scheduled for Belfield Park on Monday night has been postponed as the Hoops are in action against Polish club Odra Wodzilaw in the first round second leg of the Intertoto Cup at Richmond Park on Sunday.
    I don't know when this is re-scheduled for but if Rovers get into the next round of the inter-toto, it mightn't be for a few weeks.

      Preliminarily rescheduled for Monday the 8th of July (i.e. put back one week.)

      Presume this will change if Rovers win though.

          Judas Fitzpatrick somehow managed to score and so Rovers are through to play Slovan Liberec next week. Presumably this means that the Rovers game is off for another two weeks anyway. I might head in to UCD to-morrow and check with Maccer to see what the story is.

          And yes, I am aware now that the 8th is a Tuesday...

              Game now off until after Rovers get knocked out of Europe at least.
