Just wondering what folks thoughts on supporting them are...

pete when the game on btw

honestly i would like to see the scum win, any EL rivalries i have are left behind for european games, but honestly i think the polish are embarrassed that they underestimated the scum so badly (didnt they play only 3 first team regulars!) and will play a full strength side a whip the scum 3-0 or maybe 3-1

would go if i was in dublin,

Sunday 3.15pm i think.

I'll support any eL team. Going to a game & clapping another eL team doesn't you'll join in their songs. ;)

Apparantley, and I'm only quoting what I've read on other MB's, 8 of the team that played against rovers played their last 6 league games. so maybe they're not as good as presumed. In saying that, I'm sure they're coming over with revenge in mind.

Hopefully rovers can hang on.

hope rovers win - am going to the game.

Ditto for any LoI (or indeed Irish League)

All rivalry goes out the window when Europe comes around.

Family mean I get to much fewer games these days but I always get to the European games.

Hope they lose to an Alanreynolds OG seconds from the end making it 2-3 and Odra go thru on away goals.

I could never ever support Shams. They are filthy SCUM!

Harsh if not somewhat true but it would be good for EL teams to do well in Europe

Jeez, there's no sitting on the fence anyway, judging by the poll

might go if i'm not working at the olympics, we had great support from other league clubs when we were in europe and i think we should get behind all our league clubs when playing in europe

when an LOI team plays in europe i see it as they are representing our league and above all our country. we need a team to do well in the european comps or the league will never get better. If foreign players see that they may have a chance of progressing in europe with an LOI club this may attract them to LOI.

I hope they win but not enough to go to the game and give them my money. Probably be watching the grand prix anyway.

I disagree. Its a bit like supporting Rovers in their quest for a ground of their own in Tallaght. If any club improves their lot they improve the league & encourage other clubs to improve also.

Yeah I see where you're coming from alright, it's just different, for me anyway, when it comes to Rovers.
If it was any other club playing on Sunday, I would be rooting for them and I might even go to the game.
I'm rather indifferent with regard to this game tbh, I think it is a combination of apathy towards Rovers and apathy towards the inter-toto.

I hate Shams. They are f****** SCUM. But I still want to see all Irish clubs win in Europe. I would go to the game if it was any one else but shams

I couldn't give a rats who comes to support us. We'll make enough noise on our own. Obviously other el fans are welome but I wouldn't lose any sleep if none turned up. I've grown to accept that no one likes us and that's just fine by me and pretty much all other hoops.

Scum won 1-0, making it 3-1 on aggregate.
They now go through to the second round of the Inter toto cup.

I hate the Homeless barstards but this is a good result for the league.
I suppose our game on the 11th will have to be refixed now.:(
