Rockmount drew in the Intermediate Cup last weekend so that replay may need to be played first.

Deffo on Sunday - we will beat you. :p;)

(Tongue firmly in cheek! We're not playing well at the moment so might have to take you back to ours!)

Why is it played in Kilmallock?

jackman Park closed for pitch maintenance.

Kilmallock is pretty good for a lower division junior club ground.

Yes, but they're facilities are far better than some other 1A sides (e.g. Bruff :o and Dromore)

Any reason you've gone out of Limerick City for a Pitch?

We have been invited by Summerville to avail of their hospitality and we have been promised a bit of 'needle'. and I dont mean needle as in 'southside special' needle either!

For the last few years Limerick have used the Munster Senior Cup to play outside of the city and hopefully attract supporters from the county. Its the Senior club of the city and county after all. When Limerick last won the MSC in 2006. They played the semi-final and final in Askeaton so its nothing new.

Their facilities are better than most premier sides also. They have two nice pitches out there. And I think they even have their own 'shed' out there so ye can recreate that famous atmosphere of Hogan Park/Jackman ;):D

By the way, I heard lastnight that it wont be on in Kilmallock and their pitch is worse for wear at the moment - dont know how reliable the info is though so I'd suggest anyone thinking of heading there makes a few calls first to find out where its actually on.

Yea Kev, I heard something similar. They conceded home advantage to Gratton in the MJC 2 weeks ago cos their own pitch wasn't playable so I can't see them allowing a game to be played on it.

Lads, did anyone else see todays Limerick Leader? It says the Limerick V Rockmount game is cancelled as Limerick do not have enough registered players. Can anybody confirm this?

But according to a post in the signings thread limerick have signed at least 11 players. enough to field a team anyway unless a certain amount of subs are required.

also if it is cancelled it should be a walkover for Rockmount as it is a cup match and its not their problem Limerick don't have enough players.
