for the season it would have to be Alan Keane for me. Local lad, loves the club and first choice in his position. I can't see Wes being a guaranteed starter and don't know if he is captain material anyway tbh

I'd say Fitzy to be captain next season, Keane maybe in the next year or two.
Who was captain yesterday?
Claret Murph

about 250 as it absolutely ****ed out of the heavens from 6 until about 8.30pm the sold 8 Season Tickets = €2,000 and would have taken in about the same in cash.

In yesterday’s Sentinel that Cousins will not be naming the captain until closer to the start of the season. Also mentions some defender from Uruguay who is on trial - didn’t make it on Friday, how did he play?

John Fitzgerald is captain for the season.
Aparently Wes Charles will be helping Philip Coffey with the coaching of the A team, and Cousins didn't think it would be right to be captain and to be on the coaching staff as well.
