heard lads that dean barrett( younger brother of ex town legend shane) is training with us.. what do you think of him?

Didnt really get his game apart from the odd game off the bench, but I thought he was good tbh, should have started perhaps!? Possibly not a natural goalscorer though.

Barrett was good. Played about 25 games but only started in 3. He was the
eternal substitute. For a striker 2 goals in 25 games isnt a great return - but
they were good ones. One against Kilkenny and one against Shelbourne can be
seen on youtube below!

I hear he is on trial with you guys. Barrett tries hard and can have good games, but has some atrocious performances too (Athlone away comes to mind!). If you guys want to go back up, I doubt you would be signing players like him. Though, given a chance, he might improve.
