The kennedy cup 2003 is underway in plassey Limerick.
The athlone and district schoolboy league have played 2 games to date,hammering a poor longford side 6-0 and then losing heavily to tournament favourites D.D.S.L.
Athlones next opponents should be the Midland league in the qtr final of the Bowl competition.
Anyone in or around limerick should drop in and have a look at how well this tournament is run.
the place is full of F.A.I. officials,club scouts and the kids are really well looked after.
