Excellent
Should be good, the last series was excellent to be fair, and left on one of the better cliffhangers I've ever seen anyway. Will be interesting to see how they progress the story to where we left off, especially as they have only 8 episodes this season (I hear) because of the writer's strike

I even refreshed on LOST with the Lost review video on rte.ie. Very Good I must say.
I cannot wait...absolutely love Lost, so looking forward to its return

I've read that Michael is coming back. The writers have also said that a character we thought was dead makes a reappearance?

you see Michael in the season preview alright, haven't heard about the dead character coming back, although it won't be Charlie after what Dominic Monaghan had to say when he was written out

Yeah I can't wait. All of my friends hated the cliffhanger at the end of the last season but I thought it was excellent. I'm glad to see I wasn't alone.

I hope not. Walt can stay away aswell.
Series 3 was poor. Will probably give his series a few episodes & decide if I continue then. Writing seems to consist of two steps forward one step back approach just to extend it to 7 series.

Series 3 started off poorly and finished well, some of the later episodes where we finally got some answers were as good as the opening episodes in the whole series

hmmmm not sure what to think of that first episode. Opens up lots of questions (as always) but I think the writers have seen the finishing line and can start closing in on the end..... good to see a guy from the Wire (Lt Daniels) get some screentime!

I thought it was this one plus 2?
It is , It was going to be 2 X 24 ep series bu then it was decided to have 3 X 16 ep series
I enjoyed it anyway, thought it pushed on the flash/forward idea very well as it left three big questions, who are the other 3 of the Oceanic 6? What changes Jack's mind about the island? and tell them about who, or what? Plus we finally got the split in the camp that they have threatened for two seasons now, so I'm happy.
Did I hear they had cut this series down to 8 episodes due to the strike though?

The Oceanic 6 so far:
Hurley
Jack
Kate
Really enjoyed it myself, so frustrating when it ends...what makes it so great I suppose

Much preferred it when RTE showed two episodes back to back alright

From the end of the last series, we know Jack goes to a funeral, it's not Kate, it might be Hurley, or it could be one of the other 3
This flash forward takes place after last night's episode, because Jack has a full beard.

Didn't Jack say last night he got rid of the beard when he was talking to Hurley?
I felt that the flash forward last night takes place after the one in the last series.
I think i might have got ur words mixed up.

No , He said he was thinking of growing a beard , Then Hurley says he wouldnt look good in a beard ,
I'd say Sawyer is one of the 6 , as in the last ep of Season 3 , Kate says " He'll be waiting for me" , I think that Sawyer.

I'm pretty sure Jack told Hurley he was thinking of growing a beard. I reckon the flashforward with Hurley in the mental hospital precedes the attempted-suicide one by some way, given how "together" Jack is by comparison.

The warning signs were there already given that vodka was already a staple of his breakfast:)
The Hurley flashforward was set before Jack goes off the rails. Remember Hurley shouting at Jack that they have to go back and he said that they'll never go back? We have to see what happens to Jack to have him end up where we saw him at the end of series 3

Just watched the latest episode. There'll be no complaints about the slow pace of the narrative with this one. It's all kicking off!

If that's not referring to Sawyer it's just plain bad writing tbh (which wouldn't surprise me, I thought the 3rd series was a little bit sloppy in places). I can't see them killing both mothers off so I imagine that Claire and/or Sun will make it. Possibly Walt too. I would imagine that Michael will die to redeem himself, Jin is a walking obituary as his lack of English makes him easier to bump off if you're a writer and I suspect that Sayid and Locke are on their way to a demise too...

It is trying my patience, not sure how long with stick with it.
Imagine if you pitched a series about a group of people stranded on a deserted island. I am sure one of the first questions asked would be how to introduce new characters... Plot seems to have been rewritten from series one.
Anyone know where you can stream these episodes online? Not into waiting 4 days for torrents to download and there's a fupping party going on in my living room so can't watch the episode in peace.

Only from the US. If you can set up a US-based proxy it should work.

Official sites only work from the US. RTE & Sky One are only a few days behind US tv. I am sure both channels repeat episodes?
There are numerous Flash players sites but please do not post them on foot.ie

Agreed, I hear they add a few new, much needed dimensions to his character this year, so this is a start. I think it's fairly obvious at this stage that Ben and Desmond, probably Walt too, are able to jump through time to be honest, it would explain a lot anyway

Jebus - I totally forgot Desmond could do that! Christ knows where this will lead us but it will be fun all the same. I'm gonna have to go back on lostpedia and swot up.

There's something to do with time involved alright. In this weeks episode when the guy from the ship asks them to fire the payload, and it arrives later than he was expecting, seems to indicate that. Time moves slower on the island is my guess. This is how they will explain if Walt comes back as a much bigger teenager.

What I don't get about this season is thye amount of spoilers being leaked. Lost has been very good at keeping it's secrets inhouse up until now, but you could have found out who the Oceanic 6 were two weeks ago, everyone knows Michael comes back, and in general people seem to know a bit more about what's going to happen in upcoming episodes than in seasons past

Same reason the soaps do it. People are losing interest so they feed some juicy upcoming tidbits.

I'd put it down as a spoiler but I don't know how?
All i'll say is that the Oceanic 6 are hiding secrets.
