Just wondering as it gets closer to the start of the season is there any word on busses for the away games. I think this year its a must must... After the success and atmosphere created in Athlone a 12th man is what the team will have to really count on. Also I no a number of people that would be interest in travelling to most matchs.
I suggested before that a list of away games that busses are being organised for be posted in the club house and on the Supporters Club section of the Official site at http://cobhramblers.ie/suppclub/. That way at least everyone will have access to the information one way or another and there should be no excuses from, or blame directed at either side then.

We are premier division now so IMO there should be buses going to all games. Having a bus to the opening game vs Harps is a necessity.

Well we should at least try and get fan numbers
Speaking of away days. Did the club club get the new flags to replace the old sheets that were sown together last year? Which we paid for.

key to getting people to matches is notice, if people now there is buses weks in advance then they will have time to get ready no point telling someone bus is goin to match on saturday and only tell them on friday

could we not organise a travel club , 10 quid to join , gives you priority to book buses they take your name and number and text you details and gives you deadline for payment. if you ask for payment 1-2 weeks in advance you can get defo numbers and book appropriate bus size 20 seater or 52 seater etc
maybe this could be run by supporters club, again this could all be imalgimated into one if we had a proper supporters club card , they could have a ticket sales time at previous home game and would not come to situauation of confusion like this year
Two words to all of the above 'Supporters Club'

I actually only know of one person who is involved with this. Personally, all I have to say on this is that if you guys are not happy and believe that the Supporters Club need to be more active and open in what's going on then, take it to them (if you can find them). Find out what sort of 'constitution' they have in place etc etc. Push. Push and Push until you're all satisfied that all that can be done is being done. Actively seek new memberships. Get membership cards done. Ensure that there is a clear line of communication between those that run the SP and the supporters themselves. Establish a clear constitution if one doesn't exist. Get the ball rolling and have everything transparent and above board. Elect some of you to the SP committee.............you guys need to chase them. They won't come to you...........
