How about just closing them altogether. The name calling and petty carry on being shown by so called "Adults" in one of these threads is nothing short of childish and serves no purpose.

I think you will see the abuse and insults have come in the whole from 2 posters who always seek to drag any offer of help or concern into the gutter.

God almighty would you go away? Tell me what more you, you personally, want the SC to do? Without dragging GUST's search for the Mysterious City of Gold into it as well

gufct, maybe the attitude of these "supporters" sheds some light on the reason why more people in Limerick don't get behind senior football in the city. On the one hand they cry out for people to support the club but on the other hand they knock the local junior leagues where most of these new supporters would come from. I actually considered supporting L37 last season but after encountering these "supporters" and their attitude i quickly changed my mind. To say that these guys are paranoid and suspicious of anyone that shows interest or that tries to offer advise is an understatement. To prove my point just watch how they will dissect and multi-quote my post in an attempt to discredit me. Oh and they'll say i'm the paranoid one! ;)

Wouldn't dream of saying your paranoid, you are a big girl's blouse though, I mean, 'I'm not supporting them because two of them looked at me funny', is the stuff of the playgrounds. Anyway, since you're so wise, could you answer me why yourself, gufct or any ofthe rest of the advice givers won't answer my question as to where they think the SC needs GUST's help? Or, shock horror, could answer that question itself? Or even better, could you tell me why someone who has no interest in L37 after the vicious mauling he recieved off of us last season still posts on this forum regularly?

There are many L37 fans on here who play in the local Junior Leagues and some in the higher Leagues, so whats your point? There is no "attitude" by the Limerick fans. Jebus is just pointing out that the Galway fans are trying put down the work and achievements of the Limerick SC last season. Ive heard many excuses from people for not supporting Limerick or any other team but your excuse is the funniest I have ever heard. You were put off my Limerick fans whose attitudes are poor . Sure there was always at least 400 hundred people at L37 games, so why didnt you just go over the other side of the ground? They all cant be that bad :p.

Your SC is a joke. This time last year when the club was going to the wall and having it's now annual pre-season crisis you guys were no where to be seen. The amount of times fellas on here proposed having meetings in order to save the club were countless. What was most amusing were the excuses like "sorry I can't make that time or place because I'm washing my hair that night" or excuses to that effect. Setting up stalls or snack bars at matches after the club had been "saved" for another year was only a mask by you guys to re-assure yourselves that ye did something. Ye wouldn't save a club milk not to mind a soccer club/ :D

Somebody wants a reaction anyway. From the rumours I've heard about your good self in the past few months (aren't you that creepy loner guy?) I'd take any insult as a compliment for mankind in general

Then why assume that we need your help? Our SC are doing great work and will continue to do so next year

Well if people like you didnt have such small minded views then maybe you could join the Supporters Club and give a hand and support your local club. At first I thought maybe you had a valid point but your just striring it up and looking for a reaction. And another thing, not everybody on here is in the Supporters Club so using foot.ie as a view point of the SC is wrong.

That was the previous Limerick FC SC, run by completely different people, with a tiny membership base and not much else. That SC wouldn't be even related to this years one, which is run by mostly new people who had nothing to do with anything the previous SC did or didn't do. And that included the mickey mouse attempts at organising the meetings you refer to. They are not the same SC's, so get your facts right before you jump on your high horse.

And another thing. Foot.ie has nothing to do with the L37 ISC, in fact if anything it's nothing but a pain in the ar$e. No views expressed on here represent the views of the SC. Mainly because most of the officers have stopped posting on here due to the complete rubbish and childishness that dominates the forum. Even SC's of other clubs have pointed out how pathetic the Limerick forum is, unprompted, and that says it all really.

Fact is, half the 'experts' on here dont go to games and fortunetly the majority of people at our games are not even aware of this site!

The last two posts (and the first to be fair) aside this thread has been utter nonsense and is about to be shut. Monkfish's concerns have been addressed I believe. I can't get online for one day and the place erupts even with LTID out of the country...
