Ok lads, this is where i come to you all, cap in hand.
To make a long story short i want your money, for what? new flags and other 'items' ;) Those who know me and who have donated before you know your money will be well spent and every penny accounted for. Plan at the moment is for 2 new big flags, size and everything else will depend on how much i get, so if you have a few quid spare please reply with just the figure your pledging and nothing else.

For further info PM me and il get back to you, and please dont **** around with this thread, only reply if your going to contribute and how much you are going give. Lets not have the same situation as last year with people saying they'll contribute and then not bothering to pay up.
Hopfully over the next month we'll have collected enough, il also ask the S.C. for a contribution and lim til i die is currently tapping bebo land where money has already been promised. Thanks in advance.

Mr Fish. :ball:

Monkfish, are you Leo the Lion?
If so, i fear you're about to be usurped by a cheesier titled Munster Mascot cat.

I can give you an address in March to which you could send the Yen in cash or cheque :). Come to think about it I must ask at the S.C. meeting about our bank account details, that way people could just lodge it with them. Im open to suggestions people!

How can a fish be a lion? :) although im gonna give it a go on some drunken summer evening i havent been Leo the legend yet, several people have had that honour last season. I wouldnt worry about the Munster cat, somehow I cant see it starting fights, being in supermacs at 1am and tapping me for a fag in our shed (then a lite:D) would the rugger buggers approve of such fun mis-adventures? nah! Munster cat out!

Anyway back to the mulash!

Sorry to intrude for a minute. Serious question Monkfish, where do you source your flags. And before the obvious reply is posted, no I don't want a L37 one.

Here are some of who we've used, think Mr Gael got 4 of them made in Dublin, not sure where though.

May I take this chance to Thank Eddie Clancy jnr of Summerville Rovers F.C. for being the first to acually hand over some cash! :) fair play, the fact that a man whos family is steeped in Junior football folklore is the first the acually part with his hard earned cash should spur the rest into action! :ball:

A few people have put on the famous outfit, for my money Trev is the most entertaining (i.e. has rattled the most cages :)), and Cobh supporter Bellavistaman could wind up as Leo in the near future if he's disasterous showing in our fantasy football league continues

Well as you know, our fire power is now on par with your average South American country and we also now have the ability to be heard within a range of 1 km, the material and other bits for 1 of the flags has been purchased and iv enough money to make a start on one of my large flag ideas, only thing holding this up is the tweaking of the new SC badge, once the rest pay up work will begin on the 'leo' flag.

Just want to thank all those who have paid up so far, some of you gave what you couldnt really afford and some of you even bothered to send money from Japan, just hope the SC can get their badge sorted so I can start with the flags, plan is for 2 maybe 3 (depending if promises are kept) large flags/banners.

The new supporters crest is nicer than the club crest I think. I haven't seen any of the flags obviously, and won't until at least September.......but well done all who are working to make things work.

That's cos the guy who designed the SC crest is far superior to the guy that designed the club crest :D
