Drogheda ‘keeper plays in Croker

While it is unlikely that Gary Rogers will ever get the chance to don his Drogheda United shirt in Croke Park, he did manage to line out for the Meath footballers less than 24-hours after playing for his club in their 2-1 defeat to Waterford United.

Rogers got permission from his manager Harry McCue to line out in the Gaelic football match due to the break in the eircom league season. Rogers was named at centre forward on the programme for Meath in the Leinster junior football semi-final which they on comfortably against Laois.
