its a tough start to the season, if it goes tits up we could lose all 3 opening games before going to Limerick

The hatred is professional courtsey, I wouldn't expect anything less :D

Hard to know what's going on. Current committee maintaining radio silence
as they have for most of their tenure. Some former committee saying that
the end is nigh, other former members saying things arent as bad as seems.

Was talk of FAI intervention but seemingly this now withdrawn ... depending
on who is to be believed.

Still have transfer embargo

I suppose it comes down to getting the money together in time to pay off the players/taxman (not sure which it is?). The FAI seem to be cracking down hard on every club or maybe it's just the smaller ones seeing as they were so keen on helping Limerick..

sorry to see the strife athlone are in. we were in it last season ourselves it would be such a huge pity to see them go out of business as you need your local derbies!

speaking of the devil what happened to courtcase in which Gary Cassin was sueing us? whatever happened ?

Absolute joke. Friday nights in dublin are grand, but trying to get from dublin to places like limerick and waterford after college will be a nightmare

Don't think he went ahead with it for whatever reason. There's been nothing about it in the last year or so.
