The friendly is probably in someplace like Darlington or Truro, exile !
GUFC keep a veile of secrecy over arrangements for training camps abroad.

More likely to be Witham Town or Canvey Island! Witham Town would be sweet :D
I believe the friendly match will be against an Ipswich town select team.

I believe the friendly match will be against an Ipswich town select team.
According to the Galway Independent, GUFC will play Ipswich Town on Feb 20th

Galway United will head to Ipswich Town for a pre-season training camp next week. Tony Cousins will take his squad to Portman Road at the invitation of his former Liverpool colleague Jim Magilton.
The Ipswich manager brought his side to Terryland Park for a friendly eighteen months ago, shortly after Cousins was appointed Galway United boss.
United, who started their pre-season campaign on Monday, will travel to Suffolk on Monday, February 18th and will spend the week there, with a match pencilled in against Ipswich Town on Wednesday, February 20th.
The training camp will be part of a busy pre-season campaign for Cousins and his side as they prepare for the start of the league on March 7.
United will travel to Limerick 37 for the first of four friendlies against domestic opposition on Friday week, February 1.
The following Friday they will entertain Athlone Town at Terryland Park before heading to Waterford United the following Tuesday, February 12th.
Following the training camp in Ipswich, United will go to Flancare Park to take on Longford Town on Friday, February 29th, before opening their league campaign the following week.
"Each of the fixtures announced today will be good, competitive games and will go a long way in getting the players fitness up to standard for the start of the season in March," said Cousins.
