Going to Galway for the weekend in March and saw some good deals for this hotel. Has anyone stayed in it? Is it near city centre?

Just by the docks S'Dub as the name kinds of tells you that already , 3 minutes walk and you are in the think of things .
Now never stayed myself but I know of a few people who have eaten in the hotel and said it was very good indeed . I would still eat out as the choice is yours in town .
Have fun .

Only about 200 to 300 meters from the main pedestrianized area. It has a car park and is not within earshot of any pubs or clubs so you should get a decent kip. Enjoy your trip west.

Just back from my weekend in the harbour hotel in Galway and i would thoroughly recommend it. Five minutes walk to city centre, nice bar open till 2.30am, nice rooms and very reasonable. This was my third or fourth trip to Galway and it has to be one of the best towns for a weekend away, would recommend to everyone. www.harbour.ie

very hard to beat galway down by the river - pint bottle in hand - on a warm summers day with all the hot latinos walking around ( ok spanish ) and lying on the grass.....! :D
