No chance of him leaving City imo.

Probably insane speculation, if there's any Irish player that's happy with their role it'd have to be Dunne.

True but it was Keegan that sorted his career out and Dunne reportedly has a lot of time for him. It corssed my mind watching Dunne on Wednesday night with all the Keegan talk but at this stage I'd say it's pure speculation due to them having worked together before.

Doubt it, according to Man City's website this week, he's going to sign a new contract in the near future: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/default.sps?pageid=115&pagegid=%7BDBD12D53%2D8346%2D431D%2DA04F%2D5D0F866 4DE80%7D&newsid=524158&siteid=&pageno=3&newscategory=&frommonth=11&fromyear=2007&tomonth=1&toyear=2008

Same with Wright-Phillips, he's been a regular in the Chelsea side under Grant

his contract talks have supposedly stalled at the moment!

would be a major step in the wrong direction for him imho. If he was to leave he should be looking at one of the big 4 clubs instead of the shambles that is Newcastle...

Everyones contract talks stall ...player wants more, club want same or less, agent ****stirs to so as get in papers so as to get other clubs enquiring so as to put pressure on current club to meet wage demands. There's a bit of chest-beating and brinkmanship followed by player signing new deal and giving interview to club website expressing how delighted he is and how he wants to "see out his career here".

Dunne's going nowhere.

He would have to be clinically insane to go next or near that shambles that mascarades as a 'big club'.

Also being linked with Celtic but the probable £8m price tag would rule them out immediately.

Can't see him going anywhere unless he gets the offer to go to Liverpool or across Manchester, neither of which are likely in the near future

i cant see dunne heading to newcastle. he is city's key player. if eriksson can get podolski on board i reckon they could grab 4th and champ league. no chance of that for newcastle, hence imo a backwards step.

You said 'if' though. 'Hence' can't follow 'if'.

Dunne linked with Celtic in some reports today. Strachan was at Eastlands for the West Ham game last wednesday, so there may be something in this.

Why do ye waste time with these stupid threads where people just copy the red tops sensationalist stories that have absolute no foundations.

Lets see - Dunne played for Keegan before, Keegan needs a new defense, Dunne is a defender............It all adds up!

Except for the fact that Dunne is probably the best centre half in the premiership at the moment and would never consider going to that bermuda triangle of a club
