I presume, that if viable, it would be a "staight-in and straight-out " affair?

Is it Tiblisi only or via Montenegro on the way back?

Yeah and can you just "pull-in" and drop me off in Watford on the way back?:D

Schloomp and myself may be interested in this too.
Depends on price and getting to the 2nd game too.

All the routes previously mentioned are looking to cost
over €700 by the time we got a chance to book anything

Depending on flight times and prices etc. I might be interested.

All depends on dates and prices? Would it be a proper outing with hotel, transfers etc?
Like the standup tour to Israel in 2005

Id be up for that, sure we can get the numbers down by packing as many people as we can onto the plane, like the infamous bratislava to prague train ride!!:D:D

any inquiry form was submitted to an irish charter flight company, so we will see from there.

I am interested but unfortunately it will depend on price. I have another guy who goes to away games and I'm sure he would go.

Does anyone have any idea what the cost would be, even a rough price. Above or below€500.

Isreal was about €750 nearly three years ago now, but that included three nights accommodation. Given Georgia is further away and fuel costs are a liot higher now than they were then, so would be very suprised if its less than €500

I would be bowled over if the flight only cost is less than 700-800 euro.

Derry City looked at chartering into neighbouring Armenia last year and it just didn't make sense. It was much cheaper for team, officials and fans to fly scheduled, which cost between E500 and 700 iirc.

Thanks Saint Tom and ORA. I'm aware of Georgia's location but am completely oblivious to the costings of Chartered flights. I'm thinking of seeing what offers the agents give on the double header (if any).

Ya has anyone contacted any agents to see if they're running a package?

I'd be at least interested to see what sort of prices they are quoting.

I'm of limited means for this campaign and while I know I won't get to all away games, I'm determined to do the Ex-Communist run. I'd imagine the agents will do some type of a deal on the double header in Sept. Just hope its affordable.

If money is the main issue for you then I would say the package for the two games will be out for you. I would not be surprised if you're looking at €1,500 for the two games. You may just have to choose one of the two.

From what I can remember the Georgia Albania trip last time round was around the 1000 mark with 747 travel. Think they were based in Malta or Cyprus.

Went with 747 for that trip. The last time we used a travel agent. I think it cost 1,000 alright.. We were based in Tbilisi. The route 747 took was as follows.

Dublin-London-Istanbul-Tbilisi 3 nights in Tbilisi then we went Tbilisi-Istanbul-Tirana 3 nights spent on the side of a mountain then Tirana-Istanbul-London-Dublin. A Crazy itinerary

Have looked into this extensively in the past. It is prohibitive due to the time on the ground. There is no problem getting to Tbilisi and there is no problem getting home from Montengro. THERE is a little problem getting from Tbilisi to Montenegro:D

I would suggest that a charter from Tbilisi to Montenegro would be viable as it would invlove no waiting around and I imagine that even those who have already booked to go around the world may take a hit if a direct flight was on offer. I know 8 of us did all the away games last time including Denmark. We would jump at a charter from Tbilisi to Montenegro and may be much more practical to organise.

If you go ahead good luck:ball:
