This website isn't totally up to date (like Athlone Town for example and Dublin City is still there) but might be of help
http://www.ifgrounds.com/home.html

Some of the club websites have good pictures as well.

It... doesn't look much different now! Pitch is in better condition, that's for sure; and I can't remember offhand if you'd see the portakabins behind the town end from that angle anywya.

In our club house there are a number of very good 'artist impression' pictures of the new stand that will be built. Looks brilliant and I took a snap of them with my phone camera. I'll try and upload them

Unfortunately, that's just the picture from the architect. It will only be going up during the season, while a temporary stand is being erected on the opposite side of the pitch

What will the stand hold and what is the capacity of the temp seating?

oldyouth
14/01/2008, 12:31 PM
I think it will have a capacity of 1,500 with a club shop, media room, food outlet, toilets etc built in underneath.

As for the temporary stand, I don't know. Please God we get a better summer than last year. Very hard to get the songs going when it's ****ing down

judging by that pic id say it will be lucky if it holds 700,
looks very small

Jackman park is some disgrace. Is there any plans to do something with it. Otherwise id say ask munster for use of thomond park.

L37 wouldnt be able to afford the rent at Thomond Park (anyway its being re-developed at the moment)
And it's embarrassingly far to big (over 13,000) for LOI football.
