Signed for Liverpool today, their most expensive defender to date at around £6.5 million
anyone know if he's any good?

vidic was playing the russian league as well, he fitted in immediately, benitez seems to be chasing this guy for a while so id say he could an excellent addition to squad

It's worth remembering that Benitez chased Dirk Kuyt for a long time too before signing him :-)

did he play against us at croker...don't rememeber there centre halves being anything special..that been said we were muck as well...he doesn't stand out from the away game either
