Hes a left footer alright. Left back or left midfield. He should offer some competition in the midfield.

Hopefully he's still hungry to prove himself. The amount of players that go across the water and then lose their appetite for it when it doesn't work out is unreal. I know players who went across as great players/prospects and came back as nothing more than average players who ended up being lucky to get a game.

The good thing about him is he is young and so is the current squad so he should gel with the lads and that will spur him on to want to get into the first team and play every week imo
