On Sky Sports now, anyone watching it?

Barca now 3-0 up in Mestalla after 62 mins. Eto'o scored 2 and Gudjonsson with the 3rd. Messi went off injured in first half. Really dominating the game and Ronaldinho is only on the bench:eek:. I pity whoever gets Barcelona in Champions League...

Watched the last half hour.

No Henry, no Ronaldinho, Deco on the bench, Messi injured, Eto'o returning from injury, Gudjohnsen, Giovanni and Bojan playing...and it still can be a beautiful game.

Xavi and Iniesta were there still. The chance where Marquez tackled and won the ball at his penalty box, then a move of Marquez-Deco-Giovanni-Gudjohnsen-Xavi-Giovanni for the ball to be desperately cleared off the line was great to watch in its simplicity.

Who needs Messi or Ronaldinho?:D

Yet another terrible performance by Valencia. I knew when Koeman said a few weeks ago that we'd "reached rock bottom" that things would get even worse. Valencia started the game a defeated team and Barcelona didn't have to move out of second gear to brush us aside. The fans who are usually mad keen on this fixture have gone from anger to apathy and even the now traditional hanky wave protest at full-time was half-hearted. Real Union will be fancying their chances in the cup on Wednesday (luckily for us it's a two-leg affair).

Got a load of tickets for a Shelbourne fan on here. Hope they enjoyed themselves. The game was a shadow of previous VCF-FCB clashes which are usually cracking occasions. Plus it rained for the first time in weeks

It will be interesting to see how they will shape up if Giovani and Bojan deliver on their great potential , Gudjohnsen's days are numbered and it will be hard to get 3 from 6 out of Henry , Eto'o , Ronaldinho , Giovani , Bojan and Messi

gudjohnsen isn't a striker anymore but is a damn good midfielder. did a job for a few games up top last year but he's too slow to play there for barca. old man henry will never be fit and eto'o will be away at african nations so rijkaard prob won't ever have the selection headaches ppl predicted. not convinced by gio yet but saturday was by far his best game for barca in my opinion. as far, bojan...future world player of the year

Eidur has been excellent recently. The fans were giving out about him last year that he plays with his back to goal, something thats a no-no for Barca. He looks far more accomplished in the attacking midfield role. Gio just needs a bit more experience same must be said for Bojan, I'm just worried that the two of them are very small as yet. Messi has bulked up nicely in the last year lets hope the two lads do the same. Great to see Eto'o back. All we need now is Ronnie fit.:ball:

Koeman could well be looking for a job soon - Paddy Irishman, Paddy Englishman and Paddy Scotsman on the FAI selection committee could do worse than give him a call.

Only just seen this thread. Hero for getting us those tickets :)

As bad as Valencia were (and they were bad), Barca were awesome. Second goal was something else.

FAI been waiting until Koeman becomes available:confused: Might explain what's taking them so long ;)
