Missus got me a creative Zen for my birthday. Best gadget I've ever had. Much prefer it to the ipod range

Table top technology. Bye bye keyboard!

Although, I think the reporter said it won't be available for another couple of years.

Have to say that looks the business, because it is using cameras instead of touch technology and if they get that into a large scale version could you imagine the games that could be developed.

Yeah could ya imagine!?

Although using this in restaurants... I'm thinking about hygiene and cross contamination. Yuk!
I suppose they have some sort of special cleaning system in place.

wonderfully Apple. Take existing expensive technology, put your brand stamp on it, and watch the suckers roll up.

The Macbook air comes with substandard specs for $1800 or for $3200 (dont worry, they'll take the exchange rate "into account" when they set the prices over here... if they set the prices over here) you can add the "luxury" of a 1.8GHz processor and a 64GB drive. The best part? even for $3200, you dont get a Blu ray, DVD, CD, nor even a Floppy disk drive, and suddenly your shiney status symbol laptop has less capacity than your shiney status symbol iPod.

My point being, any company could have released this 2 years ago (has anyone seen a laptop motherboard?) but only Apple could hope to get away with the ridiculous costs.

Anyone considering getting this, do yourself a favour and buy a PocketPC or something. You wont be able to do much on this anyway beyond post how utterly satsified you are with it on Mac forums.
