View Full Version : John Duddy
Just saw a clip of a news conference with the boxer John Duddy after last nights fight. Nice to see him wearing his Derry City shirt. Makes a change from the likes of Ken Doherty and his Man U fixation.

Taking the p!ss out of him for supporting a British team - I can see the sense and humour in that.
But Derry being an English team ? :o Now that's just being stupid....

Aren't the mugs on the Panel sent in by members of the public? I think I've missed about 5 episodes of the Panel in my life and only ever seen the Derry mug once. Plus isn't Colin Murphy from Down?

One of the producers of The Panel is from Derry, and is a DCFC fan - thats where the mug comes from. AFAIK its in nearly every episode.

Ya i have noticed that too actually
If I remeber correctly a number of Shels fans gave out about it last year, one even writing into RTE to give out about and RTE put the letter up on the web, very funny.

Considering he's 28 and Bloody Sunday was 1972, I think not.
