Allright City fans,

What the view on the team for Sunday any one got any views, surely be to God Hartigan will be dropped, he was shocking last week. What we are lacking is a gifted and talented player with skill. There just dosnt seem to be anyone to take on the defences as Ollie just dosnt seem to be up to it anymore. We have a mediocre side with no one really shining out, bar James mulligan but he dosnt have any support. Any views on future signings or players coming up the ranks

Special hello to Pele talk to you later. We need to get those tickets sorted Buddy?

Am i right in saying Carey, Bennett, Horgan and Tynan are out?

With what's left I'd go for...

Devine
O'Brien Coughlan O'Rourke Napier
Flanagan O'Grady Herrick Cahill
O'Flynn Mulligan

O'Brien is off form, but he's still better than Judas Daly
Flanagan is not a right winger but he's still better than Judas Caulfield.

Why is Carey , bennet & Horgan Out. Anyway as far as i see it Tynan and bennet are never in. Why is that? they are good players. My team is as follows?

Carey and Bennett are on holidays (which they booked before they ever looked like being in the first team). Hoggie and Tynan are gone to China with the Irish Universities Squad.

I think the Echo said that Bennet has been added to the squad and not too sure but I think Carey is back aswell. Weither they are fit to be involved or not is another question.

If it is true that Carey and Bennett are on holidays then I think that is absolutely scandalous. Some AUL teams wouldn´t let their players go on holidays, especially at the start of the season.
City must adapt a more professional outlook.

Murph was on lamenting this situation but you have to ask: what will happen when the Summer Season is finally foisted on us? Hols in February for everyone?

Gerry, have you lost it?? Bannon and McCabe....maybe 5-6 years ago they would be playing. You thinking about a City Dream Team again!

Perhaps Gerry could run a competition in the programme for the chance for a City fan to play on the left or up front. We are constantly moaning that we could do better than the hoofers out there, give us our chance. Even give us a go at team selection and tactics.
It would firmly re-establish ourselves as the most progressive club in Ireland, if not the world!

Look at it this way: Murph gives the kids plenty of opportunities and we bomb out! Therefore: bring back the oldies. Simple equation....:D

Excellent idea, Leonard!
But if you don't see it in the programme then Dave (co-editor) will have given it the thumbs down. He's not as enlightened as both of us...

As long as O'Flynn knows who the daddy is and does all the running. I have this old war wound to contend with you know, from the time I tripped over the coffee table while watching the Gulf War on CNN.

Murph should watch his back, James: you obviously know REAL talent when you see it! However, I think I should swap with Joe. I'm more the stopper centre half type and he's certainly more of a Patsy than me...:D
