Ok i know its that tyime of the year that we all make our favorite song of the last 12 months list and all that malarky...but here's one
Pick ONE song from anytime that you think the rest of the foot.ie people should hear, preferably something not too mainstream so that they haven't heard it already...

and lets just make it one!!!!

Nice to see Townes getting props;

In an adjacent vein, a blinding recent discovery is 'Harlan County' by Jim Ford, title track of his only record, made in 1969. I don't know what the policy is on posting MP3s here, but its up on a load of sites ....

Legal download site is no prob. If not, a link to a blog, say, that links the tune might be OK but certainly not a direct link to the mp3.
