As mentionned on another thread, the two moderaters for the Galway United forum seem not to be active on Foot.ie any more.

GalwayFrancis has not posted since July.
Terry has not posted in about 3 weeks (could he be on hols though?)

Any thoughts? Volunteers? Suggestions?

Just because they don't post doesn't mean they're not modding. GalwayFrancis was online last Friday-Last Activity: 23/11/2007 6:57 PM

I met Terry yesterday - he told me that his computer hasn't been working
for the last few weeks, so he hasn't been on-line.

still i think that new mods should be appointed...... as we've seen the place has'nt been cleaned up in quite a while... we have enough regular posters here to get new ones installed immediately!!

In a nutshell, a moderator has the power to eliminate sh!te-hawkers who posts on this forum - for many reasons such as drifting off topic.

And you gotta ensure compliance with the Foot.ie rules: http://foot.ie/showthread.php?t=7880

Which are generally fairly reasonable.

it really is a job for someone who is on very regularly - and someone who wants it/willing to do it properly

does anyone actually want the job?

Im back,

Sorry for not being around but with the laptop battery burning up on my fecking lap! starting a new job and the baby sick in hospital, I had to prioritise issues and the internet came well down the pecking order.
