Me and all Longford fans would like to thank Athlone town F.c for an easy going training match last night (Tuesday 20th).We would also like to thank athlone for bringing their average home attendance to the Flansiro(6000 all-seater ha) unfortunately there was a small longford crowd as most Longford people couldn't give a ****e about small teams like Athlone.

Funny to see an ex man u goalie like Dave Moran to fumble kieran Foleys shot over the line.
Also funny to see Vinny perth to stick the 3 fingers at the Athlone toddlers! Fair due to ye lads, nice to have the banter. Especcilally ONE LIAM BUCKLEY!
