Anyone have the foggiest when the club will be distributing tickets for the Final?

Macy

Any clearings in the mist as to whether there'll be a singing section as with previous Cup Finals?

Bosco

Apparently theres a problem because the tickets are being distributed solely through ticketmaster,i.e no segregation and cork and longford fans together, think the fai are starting to rethink this though, they told marty they would get back to him.If worst comes to worst,we can just take over a section of the stand with a big banner saying "**** off sunshiners"

Lads, whats your take on all of this situation? Have to say Longford are staying very quiet through the whole thing.

I think there is a Meeting tonight & ticket details released afterwards. Would be stupid to distribute solely on TM as that is just less money for FAI/clubs. There should be a neutrals section designated for TM tickets with the clubs selling their own allocations

Thats the only way.@ least when the ticket allocation is mainly in the hands of the clubs they can allocate tickets to the shed end and section 0 lads and other city and town fans. Its the only only way to maximize atmosphere and ensure the real fans get to see the final!

i don't mind buying on line, but a signing area is needed like at the last final.

What was wrong with the other system of distributing to both clubs and having a seperate allocation of tickets to ticketmaster. Hopefully they cop on on the issue before too long!

Confirmed on ltfc.ie that the tickets will be distributed to the clubs and put on sale from Monday so fear not!

What's the craic with the singing section? I'm in San Francisco at the moment (yes, I booked it around the Cup final before the Limerick 37 game) and I don't want to come back and end up sitting between two old dears.

well lads!

the 150 ticket allocation will be finally sorted tommorrow! blame ticketmaster for the mess! we are meetin at the hut outside flansiro at four tommorrow! we have to pay for all 150 tickets in a row and then we get our section o allocation printed from the printer that ticketmaster has given to us which is a major pain in the backside!!

but it will be finally completed tommorrow! we are in the the uncovered stand opposite the main stand and we have sections s to x coverd with the section o allocation! its goin to be sum day!

thanks everyone for the responses! see some of ye tommorrow and next week!:)

So where abouts is your singing section going to be?! Some of us might come up and give youse a hand against the corkies;)

Have read on the Cork city forum that Cork City have

North Stand sections A B C D
Anglesea Stand A
Grand Stand K L M N

Have heard but not sure that Longford were allocated Anglsea E, Grand stand J M G F and less sure about the rest of the stadia. Sections S-X, dunno what row(s) but guessing rows (J M G F) in the Grandstand I reckon are where Longfords singing section will be according to Martinho IIs post above Kildare Lad

Map from ticketmaster

http://www.ticketmaster.ie/seatingchart/198346/11445

So if you want a Corkie free final thats probably were to go. I'll be in section K with the Corkies (sorry lads) ;)

RonnieB
24/11/2007, 6:25 PM
Well the our singing section is sections H - I. Just got my tickets there for block H

haha just saw the seating diagram should be interesting finding the block :)

steno
24/11/2007, 6:41 PM
Could be an interesting job finding the seats alright. in Block K row M

EDIT just after noticing there are two M blocks reckon the seating map is wrong. I think M on the right should be H,
I is J,
J is K
K is L
L is M and
N is M

RonnieB

Block H row W seat number 666 ;) not that seating will matter!

Well there was over 24,000 at the FAI cup final in 2005 and the 2006 cup final had just over 16,000. The RDS holds either 15,000 or 12,000 I think 15,000 myself so I would say you are better off buying your tickets in advance from ticketmaster in Top Twenty in Nerwbridge or Naas. They might be able to get you tickets for the Longford singing section which Ronnie says are sections H-I in the Grandstand Kildarelad.
