what does that mean?

it mean wexford were our bogey team this year, they got 5 points off us (a win two draws and a loss) this year, one of three teams that beat us this year, so they hope longford are s***e next year,

Fantastic result, was getting texted on progress, or lack of it in the first half. Sitting 300 miles away and my nerves were going like the clappers. When I heard we were 1 nil up, kept looking at the clock and it seemed an age before confirmation of the result. The 11 o'clock news on RTE radio give a report and said the crowd was 2,000 with 600 Ramblers. Presume there was more than that from Cobh.

Certainly wasn't 2,000 there. Stand holds 2,000 and it wasn't near full. 600 wouldn't be too far off for the Cobh crowd. Stand was pretty well split in half between Town and Cobh fans.

3. The unsung heroes - all the people who have given their heart and soul to keep the club goin, not just now but through the hard times too.

Lads I have to say the support was absolutely excellent last night. I couldn't believe it and as for the players they were all outstanding. I thought Shane Barrett was class but was outshone by Alan Carey(what a man!) right when u needed a captains performance he steps up to the plate and he plays the game of his life.
Credit to Gutsie and Murray aswell absolutely. Murray getting the winner and Gutsie playin on with a broken nose. Thats commitment. I still can't believe we won!!!!!!!!!!!

The full attendence was just over 1400

My estimate was based on noise....

I travelled up to this to lend a bit of support( regretted it Sunday!), Must have been 500/600 Cobh fans. Was great to see them so happy at the final whistle, especially before we inflict utter misery and pain on them next year :P

Well Done to All, enjoy your moment in the sun.

I think i was the person who told you there was 6 min left in match not sure but if it was you you were wrecked with stress. Could have been rebel ram

I was deff wrecked with stress, was timing the match but thought there was 11mins left when there was 6mins, can't remember who told me though. Then again everone in the crowd was probably asking the same thing!:)

What a night, what a weekend. Haven't drank that much in years! 6:30 before I left the club, back at 4:00 for more again, The rats will be kickin in this week:p

Congrats to the team, lowest wage bill in the league and we win it!
Everyone in the club deserves huge credit for this achievement.
What a season to look forward to next year. We will be well able to compete with the lads we have at the mo. A few more just to deepen the squad will be all we need.

Hopefully we can show Derry next week what wea re made of. It could be a huge money spinner for us too!

The graveyard division is behind us now, lets stay in the big time, lets build to win the Prem.:)

Also had a lot of stuff to do for TV3 so we could try and get the match on eircom league weekly. Go the match couriered up today and just hope they could use the format I sent it in
