Lads, im organising “Battle of the Fanzines” in time for when you guys visitt Longford at the end of the month. Giving a clash a plug in the new edition of One F in Longford (yes we got off our @rses and did one!) and just wondering what time suits ye on the Sunday and outdoor or indoor? Outdoor is at the Flansiro all weather pitch (if you havent seen them, theyre excellent), and indoor same place as last time, the Mall.... get back to us about the venue if ye can!
cheers!

I'm going to kephelonia next week *yay* and returning to Cork straight afterwards...so a trip to the midlands might not be completely viable for me unfortunately, much as i really want to go.

I'd love to head down tho..we'll see...

I'm on for it anyway. Between Schumi, lefty and a couple of others, we should get five.

Don't mind about venue, so long as we win!

Flansiro might be awkward/expensive (for students :D ) to get to on the Sunday morning? Unless we play there on Saturday afternoon at 6:00-ish?

My exams finish next week, so I'll be able to play.

Yeah cos im not in goals this time! So we’ve now half a chance of winning....

tell ye what we’ll stick to the indoor, handier for you guys to get to in town and an opportunity to bring dem poxy college flags along!!

should be a laugh anyway, its my last weekend in Longford before heading to Edinburgh for the summer, so ****-ups all round!

Right...i'll do me best to make it lads. What would ye do without yer top scorer anyway :p (how did that happen). 7 goals in two games...i'm gonna send Doolo an anonymous letter :p

I'll try and get in touch with John and see is he around aswell, altho he might be headin back to Donegal after the exams.

Basically, i'll be in greece til the friday, and i shud be headin to Cork for good on the Monday. Julie wants to go to the cat laughs aswell that weekend...and i'm kinda thinking...well feic...i could do with havin a weekend at home b4 goin to Cork, so i've been kinda less than eager on the idea as much as it's a great weekend. She'll bleedin freak if i tell her i'm goin to Longford with the lads :(

Lads..any chance of one of ye organising a house party or sth that night, the saturday...it'd be class...will Trev Burke be around...i'd expect him to be in kilkenny aswell and Macy is goin so...a what a pity it clashes. Maybe we should all go to Kilkenny, listen to the match on the radio and then have a match on neutral ground on the Sunday...jayz thats a great idea :p

Sections N and O would be very quiet!!! :P

A.

(PS - go to see the movie old school...hillarious)

Now seeing as all Cork people know exactly what decisions the referee should have made, you should surely know that you can't get a penalty for obstruction?! ;)

I'm sure theres a rule about organising the deliberate distraction of goalkeepers/paying off goalkeepers to be distracted; whichever one it was :D

Something along the line of a six-month suspended sentence for the goalkeeper accepting the money? :D

Before any of you respond to this post keep in mind two facts:

1. I'm bigger than you.
2. I'll be playing you again later in the season

It wasn't obstruction and it wasn't a free.

Three facts for you though, Aberdonian Stu -

1) It was obstruction and it was a free;
2) It was Craddock conceded it! and
3) He's about as big as you! ;)

Now wait a sec if Im going to be suspended for accepting a bribe I want the bribe first.

Aberdonian Stu I'd say Im about as big as you, I'd have no problem teaching you a Br. De Barra style lesson on the football pitch :)

1. While I thank the kind gents for saying that either they (SOC) or someone else (Craddock) is as big as me I must sadly admit that I probably carry a slight size advantage over both.

2. It's not obstruction if Craddock did it...he was probably confused and got lost.

3. Br de Barra beatings eh, you only have two years of training you know little of the true education in brutality received in the hallowed halls of whupass (rather bizarre coincidence I just thought of: he came from North Mon to teach in Dublin yet you went down to live in Cork, perhaps you went down to learn the old ways in Christian Brothers brutality, if so I must tread carefully).

Naw I didnt go to the North Mon but my father did and De Barra threw him off the senior football team that were in the Munster Final when he found out the old man was playing soccer :)

Aberdonian we can have a weigh in before the return match, and for the rest of you UCD bhoyos, no Brazilian ringers this time!!!
