Just read the paper and was staggered to see that not only is the Rovers - waterford game scheduled for 15 minutes after everybody else but the Longford - Derry game is schedules for saturday !!

This must be a mistake / typo - surely all of the games have to kick off at the same time ?

It's a typo.
Rovers normally K.O. at 8pm and Longford play on a Saturday.

Going by previous seasons all premier matches will K.O. at 7 45pm on Friday and the 1st Division games 24 hours later.

Surely that means the Kilkenny-Harps game is moved forward too?

If that does happen it's going to create massive headaches for Harps, as not only have the team everything booked but about 100 fans booked hotel places through the club too. And there's likely to be a lot more have made their own arrangements. I wonder would RTE/FAI compensate the club for the very substantial losses and disruption involved?*

On the other hand we would be hoping that TV coverage might inspire Athlone to provide one more twist in the first division tale.

Now we havent a match on Friday night make sure everyone turns up at the Race Night in the Shamrock Lodge 8PM Friday and raise some much needed funds for the club
