Manson is ok i thought - but Sligo seem to have a few options in midfield so Im sure a striker is a priority - and I would imagine a goalscorer, someone who actually plays upfront and can add a few tap ins

maybe people found out before the game that rovers were staring mcloughlin,manson,melly,mcmorrow and ogrady at centre half! No offence to these players but these players aren't as good as the likes of faz, coleman and the others.

Wasn't a great game but it seems that cookie is building towards next year. It was nice that ross mcloughlin got a goal too. Twas good to see the players come over after the game and appreciate the fans. It was good craic afterwards too!

Didn't think I'd ever make it home from Bray last night, with all the garda stop points. Three times I was asked who I was where was I coming from etc....... I think they were tempted to arrest me for being mad travelling to Bray for a nothing game.

However, the garda at Boyle informed me that Paul McTiernan is P***ed Off at Athlone, and would be hopeful for a return to the showgrounds !
