Rugby League team qualify for Wrold Cup

Congrats to our rugby league team on qualifying for next year's world cup by drawing with Lebanon on Friday night.

Maybe we have a 2nd sport now where we can compete to a reasonable standard at International level.





























The other sport obviously being cricket.

I actually watched this Friday night and was getting into it! Not a big League fan (prefer Union) but I thought I'd give it a go. Very dirty game to be fair, the Lebanese were a rough bunch and their hot heads cost them a game. They were winning with not long to go and thankfully gave us a penalty under the posts.

We reached the quarter finals of the last World Cup but that was in 2000.
