Given that the Kilkenny game tonight is coming right on the heels of the Monaghan performance, Athlone on Thursday is now shaping up to be important and tonights game is effectively meaningless am I alone in thinking that we might be seeing some players rested?
And if we beat Athlone then we're well set for heading to Ballybofey and you never know...
Saying that we haven't gotten much out of Athlone at home in the league in the last few seasons so Thursday's game might not be the formality that we're hoping for...
