Derry boss John Robertson faces an injury crisis ahead of the Eircom Premier Division game (1945 BST).

Ola Tidman, Dave McEwan, Sean Hargan, Ken Oman, Mark McChrystal, Ciaran Martyn, Paddy McCourt, Alan Moore and Gary Beckett are all out.

Former Hibs striker Sammy Morrow will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury.

Roberston is down to just 11 fit men for the Terryland Park game and will bring in players from the U21 team.

No, No, No. We can't be having that, we need a superfit and hungry Derry tonight and equally so fro Drogs, were clinging on my our fingertips here in Longford and this is not good news!

I know all you superior soccer bods will puke at a comparison from the Gaelic Athletic Association but I can recall several occasions where Galway teams (most especially the senior hurlers) went into important games (like All-Ireland finals) as raging favourites, and came out humiliated.

The so called decimation of Derry through injury has all the hallmarks of us being tanked and while loads of nominees fro Player of the Year have been mentioned, as far as I'm concerned, we're missing ours - John Fitzgerald.

However.............COME ON UNITED:ball:

My vote was for Fity also - his influence at the back has been awesome, particularly in helping keeping things organised. He has been immense at each of the games I have seen this season - and one of Tony's best signings.

ya,but the Galway hurlers opponents werent missing some of their biggest names when they lost to them,eg;vrs Waterford and Clare in quarter finals.derry are missing martyn and mc.court tonight.Btw,who was that person yesterday talking about threads going off on tangents,im afraid he wont like this one either:).
i really hope Robson plays tonight, ive not seen alot of him sadly but what i did see was great.
Revised prediction for tonight:2-0 to us.
C'mon UTD.

teams are always dangerous when young players come in, especially to teams seeing out the season as they are looking to impress and get contracts ... etc. HOWEVER an early goal should settle us and hopefully we get it. i reckon we will win tonight, hope the Drogs do too!!!
