Looking at the games played so far we've taken more points form Kilkenny than anyone else, closely followed by Cobh. Our big slip up has been not taking enough points from the mid table sides. Dundalk are the only side not to give up a point... so far...

Kilkenny ------ Played 3 Points 6
Cobh -------- Played 4 Points 5
Athlone ------ Played 4 Points 4
Finn Harps --- Played 4 Points 3
Kildare ------- Played 4 Points 2
Limerick 37 --- Played 4 Points 2
Monaghan ---- Played 4 Points 1
Shelbourne --- Played 3 Points 1
Dundalk ------ Played 3 Points 0

In the end points taken form everyone. Have to be very disappointed to only take a point off Monaghan and two from Kildare.

Overall as successful a season as anyone could have expected. The improvement, from that first home game against Cobh to the last game in Tolka, has been immeasurable. Both games resulted in wins, but, the manner of the performances was a world apart, boys had become men if you care for clichés. The win against Cobh was raw, in terms of weather and performance, grit, enthusiasm and spirit produced an unlikely victory against the eventual champions. On Saturday night, skill, commitment and self assuredness were in abundance, a more experienced Shelboune side were outplayed, out though and out fought. All bodes well for next season, a top six finish would be another giant step along the path to greatness. Forza Youths.

what a season.......really enjoyed my first season as a loi fanatic.totally hooked.thought the performance on saturday night was the "work hard, play hard" ethos of mick wallace, something that went missing in a few games this year.but you couldn't fault the attitude of the players, not just on saturday night ,but throughout the season.tolka park on saturday night was a special night for youths supporters, the atmosphere was electric.nice gesture at the end from the players, the mutual respect between players and fans on display once again.time for sleep, the miles have been travelled.bring on next season.new ideas already to make the games interesting for the fans.

I think every single person in Wexford should be proud of these lads and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mick Wallace. This club can only go from strength to strength, with a growing fanatical fanbase and our first season under our belts, the future looks like it's going to be a great ride! Roll on next season
