Was talking to a mate who goes to see Chelsea youths regularly and he was saying there's a lad called Franck Nouble who is supposed to be the business up front. He's huge apparently and is very quick and athletic.
i checked him up on wikipedia and it had a tricolour beside his name:)
does anyone know if he's born in ireland or is it a terry dixon job?

In fairness to you you never said it was an Irish flag just a tricolour.
I'm sure there are dozens of Ivorians born in Ireland every year. :D

Nah my mate is just a cockney that I've known for years. He's a big Chelsea fan and goes to the youth and reserve games. He told me about this fella so I thought I'd check out where he's from, at which point I saw the tricolour:o

Didn't Jimmy Magge make the same mistake at the opening ceremony of the World cup last year, when all the flags of the competitng nations were brought into the stadium.

Happens all the time with football video games as well. If anyone knows Chaplin's pub on Hawkins st Dublin just beside the screen cinema they actually have the Indian flag flying outside it- horizontal tricolor

There were supposedly a bunch of Ireland fans who went to the World Cup last year specifically to support the Ivory Coast on the basis that they only had to turn the flags wrong way round. Maybe Jimmy spotted them at the Ivorian games.

India were playing a cricket game at Stormont not so long ago and it was observed by a friend of mine that it's the only time a load of fellas have marched up the ards road in belfast with green white and gold tricolours and got away with it.
