McCaffrey has included two home-based eircom League of Ireland players in the panel. They are Ian Bermingham of UCD and St. Patrick’s Athletic defender Noel Haverty, who is currently gaining experience on loan with Shelbourne.

It was the last time he was selected.

EDIT: that actually coincided with our U-21 call-ups.

I read somewhere before that you would need more than one player away for underage internationals to have a game rearranged

I dont know how true or reliable that is mind you

Cork obviously only hd Gamble missing when that game was called off - it was the senior squad of course - but surely whether its the senior squad or an underage one shouldnt make a difference?

I'm not sure but I think the rule only applies to senior and U21 games.

Well to be fair to the person posting. He was basing it on the premise that two people from the fixture would be involved. However if Haverty is on loan to Shelbourne then he wouldn't be up for consideration for the St. Pat's first team, hence the game might not be postponed . It does leave UCD at a disadvantage however.
