The West of Ireland is the wettest greyest overcast part of Ireland fact.
So the rest of it's charms are useless cause you have rain 350 days a year :D

Anywhere with an Eircom League of Ireland club isn't a total disaster area :D

Kilkenny and Cork are my favourite cities, Kilronan on Inis Mór is a good spot for a weekend.

Actually find it a bit of a shakedown myself.

I think Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny deserves a mention because the local chipper serves puddin' boxes. They're snack boxes but instead of chicken you get black pud, white pud or, if you want to really splash out, a "super combo".
