Did anyone else see this in Saturday's programme? On sale on Wednesday. Wonder how limited it is?

I didn't get the programme. Which jersey is it.......is it a re-release of an old jersey or what?

No, it's like the dark blue one we had around the 2002 World Cup time. Don't know when we'll be wearing it though as we rarely used a third strip in the past.

Is there any need at all for this 'third' strip? I cant think of any international teams we might be playing where wearing either the home or away shirt would cause a clash.
Shameless attempt to shake a few extra quid out of the fans by the FAI and claiming it to be 'Limited Edition' is almost blackmail (my opinion).

Pity the Manager was not limited edition.

If our away kit is still white, I can't think of any one, unless Nigeria have done something funny with their's, and we make a the next World Cup under Stan:cool:

Alternatively, we might get Bray kicked out of the country, they become a principality and make Wanderers their national team, join FIFA and UEFA then we draw them in the for the next World Cup qualifiers (major time crunch here, but the dream can come true).

Stan will tell us that they are going to prove the handful in the group, as we are glad to come out of the Carlisle ground in our Navy shirts with a point and frostbite, and hit Henry and Roses to try the local cuisine before going to border control at the DIRT station (newly re-christened from DART to Dublin International Rapid Transit).

Poor attempt to re coup some of the revenue a Euro campaign
would have generated.

It looks almost exactly like the training tshirts they have except
the neck is almost v instead of fully round!

Its only a limited edition as it'll only ever be needed a very limited
number of times.

Its an "Fai version limited edition". That means of the 450 thousand of them that were made, only 76 of them will be sold.

Unfortunately this will only hit Umbro and not the FAI in the pocket

It might be useful if we're drawn against Shamrock Rovers XI.

You know Ash that the football jerseys are not like the rugby jerseys, they aren't supposed to be spray painted on to ya. Get an XL and stop complaining.

I could almost swear that I've seen plenty of people in long sleaved Irish jerseys.

He was a bit taken back when I pointed out that I was wearing the
current offering in long sleave!
