I think like a lot of people I was surprised by his signing & wondered where he would play in the team.

Seen him at UCD & Bray & playing some superb football. Never knew he had a right foot for passing but filling a badly needed role on right side of midfield.

Never saw him play like this for Bohs & the speed of though & range of passing is some of the best I have ever & maybe ahead of myself but the best passing seen in a City shirt. He is setting up goals but seeing the games live I have noticed how many assists have marginally failed to be goals.

Ya he has turned out to be a good signing for ye. He was not so good in the first couple of games I saw him play (probably due to a lack of match practice during the UEFA 2 saga), but he has now become a vital part of the squad. He has a class first touch and you can see that he is a great addition to the League.

Yeah, his footballing ability was mired under the sh1t that surrounded his managerial; ability at Bohs. An excellent sigining for any club in this league and had the bottle to come back and face the music/booing from his friends at the big club:)

Yeah, definitely a great signing now. Should be very good next year with a good pre-season before the start of the league.

Great passer but no options for him up front, always liked him as a player.

If he'd been playing all year he'd be player of the season.

Says something about the rest of our squad when Farrelly's throw ins alone provide more through balls than the rest of them combined

I'd have to disagree, Dan would be my POTY, Patially because of the lack of quality he has to cover for. While theyre not playng to full potential Joe has 2 irish internationals alongside him.

Joe would be up there too though. His contribution goes unnoticed a lot of the time. he was our only midfielder on the pitch against Pats and Drogs

I would say Joes presence benefits the internationals more than the other way around.

Id agree and would class him as a better player than either but playing along them must be far easier than the likes of BOC

Or even Sean Kelly, who is better than BOC but was fairly ropey at the back for long periods at the start of the season.
