Liam Buckley’s Shamrock Rovers welcome Cork City to Richmond Park on Sunday with a 3:15pm kick-off at the Inchicore venue. The event will be City’s new manager Pat Dolan’s first return to the Stadium of Light since he departed St Patrick’s Athletic during the close season. Buckley has two injury worries with midweek scans on both Shane Robinson and Tony Grant returning negative though both will have a fitness assessment on Saturday. "Tony and Shane had scans during the week but thankfully they revealed nothing serious and if they pass their fitness test both will be in contention for a starting spot on Sunday against Cork City," Buckley said. "There will be an air of expectation on Sunday afternoon in Richmond Park," added the Hoops manager as both Rovers and Cork have started well this season playing attractive football. "This will be the first time Pat Dolan has returned to Inchicore since he took over Cork City." Rovers and Cork will put their unbeaten record on the line. "City will be a top six team, of that I have no doubt" said Liam, adding there will be great pressure on them to maintain their presence at the top. Last season we pipped them for the European spot and Pat I am sure will be under pressure to improve on their finishing place. The Cork public are very demanding." "Our supporters have been fantastic at home and away games this season, in particular at Dalymount last week and they can be the extra man on Sunday for us", finished Buckley.
