very surprised that Alan Lee got a game ahead of Crowe, (Alan Lee who hasnt scored in the Nationwide in months, could be wrong...) disappointed Glen didnt get more of a run-out, but great to know he got a good reception...

Crowe got a run last time, Lee got a run this time, Brian Kerr is checking out his back-up basically. Makes perfect sense.
Well done to Glen the reception he got when he came on was second to none. I was in the West Stand and the hole stand along with all the rest of Lansdowne Road gave a wonderful welcome onto the pitch for Glen Crowe.
It was great to see him get his second cap and although he wasnt on long enough to rate he certainly is an extra option for us up front as he is our strongest striker who can hold the ball up and create chances.
Lets look forward to more caps for Glen Crowe and hopefully more Eircom League players aswell.

Alan Lee didn't do too well but don't think anyone could be judged on debut.
Incidentally, am i the only one who thinks Crowe didn't set the world on fire first time around? I mean he'd one or two chances, worked well but he's gonna have to work hard to stay in the equation.
I DO think he deserves his chance and more of them.
Hopefully, hell get a competitive run-out soon.
Though Kerrs only trying things out, i'd have him in before Lee.
I don't think Crowe is in great form this year returning from injury. Hes only got 2 or 3 goals already compared with O'Flynn & Byrne on 7 each. Crowes probably even further behind on chances converted.
He did score a good goal at the cross though.
Looks like Crowes dominance as eL top scorer will be severely challenged this season anyway.
I thought Lee did better than i expected & could see afterwards that Kerr trying out an alternative up front as he is a fairly big forward.
