As inevitable as death and taxes the sports pages have references to FAI Cup legends Shamrock Rovers (aka cup specialists).

For a change itīs interesting because there is good picture from a Rovers re-union of players from the 60īs

http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/reeling-in-the-years-shamrock-rovers-fai-cup-legends-of-the-60s-1138363.html

Can anybody put names to the players

3 rows
Back row of 9
Middle row of 5
Front row of 9

I guess Big Ben Hannigan is on the back row, far right, loose tie.
Frank O'Neill is 4th from right, front row?
David Pugh white suit glasses, front row, far right?

Mick Lawlor front right as you look at them. Scored in every round of the cup in the 5 in-row.
Liam "Rasher" Tuohy behind Mulligan.
Johnny Fulham, centre front,
Pat Courtney behind Hannigan
The great Mick Smyth second from left at the back
The equally great Mick Leech with the mop of black hair 4 from left at back.
Think thats Pat Dunne beside Hannigan

Was it Christy Canavan who went to the USA to play as a kicker in American football

Was Rico on this team for the tail end of the 6 in a row?

Yes, Rico won a couple of medals, I think he was the elder of the 5 Touhy Babes, Eamonn Gregg (I think) was another medal winning Babe, not in the picture.

Pat Courtney behind Hannigan

Could have sworn Pat Courteney passed away about 10 years ago. If not, my apologies.

Looks like Frank O'Neill (glint in his eye) is standing beside Johnny Fulham (in front of the cup).
Fulham looks remakably fit and well.

5. F.Brady
6. J.Fullam
7. F.O'Neill

Nice obituary to Johnny Fullam in today's English Independent. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/johnny-fullam-midfield-general-who-shone-at-preston-with-tom-finney-before-becoming-a-star-back-home-in-his-native-ireland-10461389.html
