View Full Version : A Team Of Jokers
Just wanna say, especially to Witchie(who obviously does a lot of work and gives a lot of his own time for the club),that todays result is a disgrace.Yes its great that your rivals Dundalk dont gain ground, but even that must not get in the way of the disguist you surely feel at the way guys who are payed to perform for Monaghan United have basically taken the pi*s of your club and your fans.
It just stinks!!! A similar horrer show at home to Cobh reeks also.Or have your players just lumped on Harps like i did at 4/5.

Who do you support shep?
Unless your a mons fan then why are you so p!ssed off?
Harps had a dream start (16seconds im told) and we really pushed on after that, by half time the game was won and neither team shook a leg in the second half.
I think ye have a quality centre half there in Luke Fitzpatrick (the blondy fella isnt he?) really quick, good in the air and reads a game pretty well, only fault was, he got caught trying to do 4 jobs at once alot. Is he signed up to ye for long?

Shep, we werent as bad as the scoreline showed, they were just S**t hot. As Sam said 16 seconds gone & harps had scored. Alvin was only back from injury & to be honest am not sure he was fit enough for the game but he is our best goalie and when you are playing the best team (and in my opinion a Premier Division team, albeit probably lower half of the Prem), you have to play your best possible team.
Our lads didnt really get to create any chances as everytime one of our players had the ball there was a circle of about 5 or 6 yellow shirts around him within seconds.
Its not a case of us raising our game against you in Oriel on Thursday either, they have been playing consistently well since July bar the games against Kildare & Kilkenny where things just didnt click at all and yesterday they were just overpowered by the best the league has to offer. They will go out on Thursday trying their best, as with most 1st division teams, all our players will be playing their guts out to try and ensure that they have a team for next season, and Sam, unfortunately its likely that Luke Fitzpatrick will either go back to Pats (who I think have 1st option on him) or Dundalk will come in with a big offer that he cant refuse.
The only players that have taken the **** at United have been dropped from the team or let go Shep.
Oh and I'm female Shep but thanks for the compliments! ;)
Was that you with your two sons who came into the bar around 6.45 on Thursday??

Yup that was us Shep. Can I ask you something, have you ever gotten into trouble at Oriel for having a fire door held open by a fire extinghuiser?

Paranoid rant.
Jesus you're sad cases you Dundalk lads.
Tell me this Shep:
Did you feel absolute disgust at the way fellas who are paid to perform for Dundalk took the pi$$ out of the club and fans when losing 4-1 in Limerick a few weeks back??
Maybe they had all lumped on the Limerick win??

LTID dont make accusations like that please unless you can back them up. I wont have the Mons forum lowered to the levels of the Dundalk posters!!

Its not really worth a sh*te to you that 4-1 win though,is it.Your staying right where you belong:D Was nice to see the proper corner flags this season in your place though.Although it still has a sort of prison yard feel to it up there.

And the pride of our team concerns you Shep? are you a mons fan in disguise???
Also find it laughable that some of the Dundalk fans accused our players of throwing the game to harps for a bet, like the odds on us losing to Harps were gonna be good!

Its best that he gets it out of his system, he's not as bad as he comes across on here every now and again. :)
