Hynes is certainly the most puzzling signing of the season, but I don't think anyone expected much of him and he can't be coining it in. Alan Moore and Neale Fenn must be contenders.

The publicans love him

His probation officer on the otherhand is appalled :)

I'd take him back in an instant though :ball:

I hear ya, but those 3 have been particulary woeful :o

McT hasn't managed to do what we signed him for, but the effort he puts in
is more than the 3 stooges put together. Davy Byrne has the (very) occasional
good performance in between his injuries and injuring team mates.

Ciaran Kelly playing some good stuff since he got a run in the team. Was fairly bad in preseason!

The money you lot are paying Darren Young is actually a running joke in Limerick

Is Heff a lazy sod all the time or just when Limerick are on the field??

Actually totally forgot about Heff ... shows his impact on the fans :o
Played Ok in the beginning, then went a bit off the boil, the was injured.
I'd say he's on a nice little earner at the moment too.

Anytime I've seen Neale Fenn play he's seemed disinterested.

I'd say Harpal Singh but I don't know if he's even played for Bohs and I know he's been out injured a good while.

I can't confirm but i think Derry signed him at the start of the season...but as I say havent seem him play or train so who knows. lol. based on how the rest of fenlons signings performed maybe its a good thing he hasn't.:p

I'll second Ollie Cahill - the league's player of the season last year...this year he looks like he lacks confidence and looks like he wants to be anywhere except on the pitch.

Sheridan

Cahill's player of the year award was more of a you're-not-as-past-it-as-everyone-thought pat on the head. He's well and truly past it now.l

Pretty much everyone Pats signed in the last window could go on this List.

Billy Gibson's an excellent signing. Keane will be good when he's fit. Barker's decent. Rogers is now the fecking captain (deservedly) and Macek hasn't played more than 15 minutes

I can't make a choice between Ola Tidman, Alan Moore, Karl Bermingham, Dave Rogers, Peter Hynes, Kyle Moran, Greg O'Halloran, Anthony Gorman, and Pat Fenlon. What a complete and utter waste of money. Makes my blood boil typing their names.

:D

Remember being pilloried here by Galway fans for suggesting he mightn't be the Messiah when he signed. How the tide has turned!

Have to agree with Hynes. Think all the Derry ones can be summed up by "Pat Fenlon". Where are those who think he's a good manager because he won the leageu with Shels and his E72bn budget?

To some extent I'd agree with you on all of them except Michael McGinley, purely on the basis that he got injured in his first game for us and only came back to fitness last week. I haven't seen enough to judge if he's good, bad or indifferent.

To put some sort of order on the others?...

1. Fenn - because so much was expected of him
2. Kingsberry - because he's crap
3. Richardson - because he looks like he's going to be crap
4. Rafferty - ?? Who?

Conor MocDonald came to KCFC this July on loan from Waterford. After a couple of games where he looked pretty woeful he went off to play for the Universities side in Asia. After being woeful there he returned home and rang John Ryan to annoince his retirement from soccer, at the ripe old age of 20 I think. :D Just couldn't handle the Station Road Ultra's and the pressure he was under

Im quite happy with all our signings.

Darragh Ryan went well off the boil before he got himself injured though. He was very good at the start of the season alright though.

Dave Mulcahy, not played much at all cup tied so missed 3 games, suspended for one,now taking a game off for personal reasons, waste of money

Being honest he didn't have much defending to do and is good going forward to be fair. He made a big mistake at home to Bray but I can't remember many more.

He was only signed on a one year deal and I wouldn't lose much sleep if he wasn't offered another one although Rico will give him one cause he doesn't have a clue whats going on.

Has to be Dave Rogers. I mean, seriously. And he was Pats captain last week too! He was a double signing, and agree with Hynes. Cahill has been disappointing from what I have seen of him.
As for our lot, Brinias, so bad, the ego had to come out of retirement and play with Gary Rogers had his regisytration sorted out.
As for O'Flynn, I think he should be kept, the only striker we have who'll stick his ars.e into the defender and try and muscle/flab (delete as applicable) onto the ball. That said, we do need a couple up front for next season, whatever division we find ourselves in

Gibson excellant is very strong. And the signing seems to have had a Tino Asprilla effect on the team. Rogers should not be centre half and even at Left back been hit and miss.

Rogers is **** and is being found out when he doesnt have the cover of Heary and Hawkins that he had at Shels. In my opinion Pats title hopes disappeared with his arrival!!

Gibson is sh1t. He was brought in as a midfield general and he wasn't good enough so he was shipped out to right full and he's not good enough to play there either.

For us Kingsbery is rubbish and Fenn has been terrible too but then again he was not suited to the long ball football played for the first half of the season.

I get worked up at games and Ollie Cahill is gonna give me a heart attack - the man's a joker - I like the medal idea - but not being one to count chickens maybe we'll take his setanta cup medal off him to start with.

He has no interest in football anymore it seems.

Fenlon as league's worst signing is hilarious
